Rehabilitation of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Persepolis (Fars, Iran)

ArchaeoConcept wrote up a Memorandum of Understanding with the General Administration of National and World Heritage Sites of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of the Islamic Republic of Iran to prepare a development plan (master plan and a business plan) for the World Heritage Site of Persepolis , as well as a development plan ( concept and business plan) for Persepolis Museum. The scope of cooperation includes the preparation of a master plan along with a business plan and action plan for the World Heritage Site of Persepolis and the Persepolis Museum, the documentation and monitoring of the management of the site and the Persepolis Museum, This means holding scientific meetings, training workshops and specialized meetings in related and agreed topics,as ell as organisng the training of young researchers. The MOU lasts five years. Once sponsors and investors found, a contract between all partners will be signed and work resumed.
