Micronesian Stone Heritage (Guam)

Invited by John Peterson of the University of Guam, Cynthia Dunning Thierstein joined ICAHM's two co-chairs, Willem Willems and Douglas Comer, on an advisory tour of Micronesia, Guam and the central and northern Mariana Islands in April 2013. The purpose of the trip was to assess the possibilities for establishing a UNESCO World Heritage project for Micronesian Stone Heritage sites.
