Public conference at the Musée d’Yverdon-les-Bains et région (Vaud, Switzerland)

Cynthia Dunning Thierstein presented a lecture in September 2014 at the Museum of Yverdon and Region entitled "Une aventure aux résultats inattendus : les sites palafittiques font le tour du monde". She explained the UNESCO World Heritage nomination process of the "Prehistoric Pile-dwellings around the Alps" which serve as an example for other candidate sites for a World Heritage nomination.
