Conference Nach der Stunde Null – aus Nachkriegserfahrungen für Syrien lernen? Denkmalpflege, Archäologie und Städtebau als internationale Aufgabe (Leipzig, Germany)

This symposium was organised by ICOMOS-Deutschland, the Deutsches Archäologischen Institut (DAI) and the European Council on Archaeology (EAC). It took place in April 2016 and focused on the preservation and reconstruction of heritage, archaeology and urban planning in post-conflict situations. Cynthia Dunning Thierstein was invited to participate with a lecture on "The role of Archaeology in the reconstruction of the city".
